Charreah,Boss Bride is the book that I didn't know I needed! It's a book I needed in my twenties and now in my early thirties! The power and practically of this book has forced me to reevaluate every area of my life. I've been challenged to really face the fact that I can do more to level up and raise the bar for the life I deserve!As I write this review, my heart aches for the 22-year-old me that navigated the world without a guide and was too afraid to be amazing. There is an Instagram challenge going on now where you show pictures of yourself side by side from 10 years ago until now. I wasn't going to do the challenge but It forced me to see more than just age progression (aging gracefully, may I add). I saw the creative spirit with the amazing personality that lacked self-confidence. I can honestly say that it took me 10 years to realize this but at this point in my life I'm taking control and evaluating how I can GO HARD and creating an amazing life to go home to. I feel more equipment with my new found self-assurance.Thank you for pouring your passion and your wisdom into this book! You have done more than just inspire me! I enjoyed this book. I appreciated Charreah Jackson's insightful tips, as well as her own story woven throughout. She offers great ideas for checking in with yourself in all aspects of your life, from career to personal to dating/romance/love. Additionally, it was refreshing to see many other women's thoughts and tips in every chapter. Use it as a playbook, do the work, as she suggests.
Great read especially for those who have been heartbroken and don't necessarily see the light at the end of the tunnel. Charreah's use of examples and notes from Boss Brides and from her own life experiences remind us that we are still worthy of love and can find love again, sometimes in the most unexpected places and ways. My previous relationship ended this year and I was low emotionally and was drained with even the thought of seeking love again but thanks to this book I'm reminded that one day this will happen again and I'm looking forward to it. I'm still single but this is fine because I can remember that I must pour into myself before I can pour into others. Thanks, Charreah, your book has really helped me in this life transition.
Charreah really knows what she is talking about when it comes to being a Boss Bride! Her insight on how to manage a relationship and a career is eye opening and brilliant! It is also an amazing read for not only women, but men as well! She did an amazing job on telling how it is when it comes to becoming the Ultimate Boss Bride!
The book certainly shows how you can have it all for love and success. Charreah shared her story about her personal and professional life in this fast pace world. I admire her truth. The book was straight to the point with guidelines on how to balance career and love. I love everything about this book. One of my top 10 books of a lifetime!
From the first few pages...I was hooked. The cadence and realness of Charreah's writing had me peaking into my deepest darkest places that I was hiding from myself to take a look. To see where I was contradicting my declaration and where I did not believe I was deserving of a healthy passionate relationship. But more than that, this book made me reconsider those I have around me, are they as supportive of me as I am of them, are we leveling each other up or keeping each other. The power of squad was the most profound. This is a must have book for all women wanting a better and fuller life whether romantically or friendship wise.
