This little book provides very good advice for everyone and the owner of it could use it to help others who might ask what to do in a certain situation they are facing some day. Truth is, I needed it as much or more than anyone else I know to help me know what to do in my own life at times. Yes, and I have been a Christian over 30 years now.
Great book, I am currently taking a biblical counseling class and just wanted some extra material. I purchased this book and showed it to my instructor the counseling director to get their opinion before putting it into my reading rotation. It was a highly approved handbook, this handbook will continue to help God's people.
The book promised to cover useful topics but in the end, the advice was too vague for me personally to be useful. It didn't give specific examples, tips, or exercises to use. I probably just had inaccurate expectations. I was looking for a book that would give me practical counseling tips and tricks.
